The Friends of Harold Parker State Forest invite the public to their 4th annual meeting to be held at the North Reading Library (Activity Room, lower level) on Wednesday, October 9, from 7 to 9 PM. Come learn more about what the Friends group does in the Forest, meet the board members and maybe get involved yourself. 

Harvard botanist and FOHP board member Walter Kittredge will speak on The Natural Beauty of Harold Parker. A life long resident of the area, Walter has an intimate knowledge of the Forest and its flora and fauna. This is a family friendly event for all who love Harold Parker and for anyone who wants to learn more about this wonderful natural resource in our back yard.
