Join the Friends for a hike to Salem Pond in North Andover. We’ll take a long scenic hike through the late fall woods around the pond, surrounded by bronze oak leaves reflected in the water. The trails are very rocky making this a moderately difficult hike. Rain cancels.

Parking is available at Headquarters on Middleton Street where we’ll start our hike from. 

Route: From Headquarters cross Middleton Street to Harold Parker Road past NA15 to the trail south just before NA16. Follow this trail on the west side of the pond to NA11 and cross Upper Salem Pond Road continuing on the trail on the south side of the pond to NA10. Take Lower Salem Pond Road east to the dam, and then the shoreline trail on the east side of the pond, crossing Upper Salem Pond Road and returning to Harold Parker Road near NA16, and then back to Headquarters.
